In the first part of LiteratEUrope participants (57 in total) read two novels: Eight Mountains by the Italian author Paolo Cognetti and Että hän muistaisi saman by the Finnish author Elina Hirvonen. During the first workshop week, which was organised in Finland, the participants worked in ten groups to create 10 podcast episodes reflecting the themes in these novels (Friendship/Family, City/Nature, Dreams/Reality, Young Ones/Old Ones, Hope/Despair). They also designed graphics (logo) and music enchantments (intro music, sound effects) that enhance the podcast episode and its theme. The episodes were published in LiteratEUrope podcast .
During the second workshop week, which was organised in Italy (Erasmus + group mobility for our students), the participants (47 in total) entered the scene of the Italian book analysed in the first part of LiteratEUrope and created 4 podcast episodes reflecting history, culture and nature. This time the podcasts were created directly on site, in a broadcasting format. The participants also designed graphics (logo) and sound enchantments to reflect the podcast episode and its theme.
The episodes were published in LiteratEUrope2 podcast .
